On the exhaust manifold of my 2.3i m20 it has a probe that protrudes into each outlet hole, part #11 "PIPE", then goes around the front of the motor, though two one way valves, part #13 (one pictured), and into a rubber hose part #15, which connects directly to the top of the air box before the afm:

My question is can i remove this entire system, plug each hole on the exahust side, remove piping and plug the hole on the air box?
part #11 is badly damaged due to poor courier service.
