    question about a hose:

that was laying loose in my engine bay. where the fuck does it go? I'm assuming it goes up into the manifold, but I don't feel like tearing stuff apart without knowing the situation. I've been trying to figure out why my car has a slight hesitation off of idle, will drop down to maybe 600 rpm before revving up over the period of maybe a half second to a second some of the time, often from dead starts, and I figured that this might be part of the problem. then again, it takes a few more turns than it should to start my car, so it could be something ignition. suggestions overall, anyone?

It conects to th bottom of the throttle body or manifold, cant recall which but it goes there. There should be a nipple to connect it to and use a clamp. I think it is the charcoal canister purge valve solenoid. I heard of folks just pinching it shut/sealing it so there is no leak and thus unmettered air.

thanks! I heard it was the charcoal canister line, but the heads up on the throttle makes perfect sense.
