32mm Fan Clutch Nut - Stuck

Following the online DIY articles, I'm using a 32mm bicycle wrench on my fan nut. Reverse thread, so I'm trying to loosen it clockwise by banging on the wrench with a hammer. After 50 or so pretty decent strikes, the sucker isn't budging - it just slips a couple inches against the belt on each hit.

I'm currently soaking the nut down with Gunk brand Liquid Wrench. Any other tricks people have used? Would a sturdier, real 32mm open-end wrench help - I think it would fit in there?

EDIT - SOLVED: Even after soaking with liquid wrench and waiting an hour for it to wick in to the threads, more hammering wouldn't budge the nut. Then I levered a screwdriver against the belt close the alternator, so that the fan pulley could not slip against the belt. Pulling on the bicycle wrench with a big box-end wrench for leverage, the nut came loose with no further drama.

Looking at it from in front of the car it is reversed , if you can make your regular wrench fir then use it .

It just takes a little initial force to break it loose , then it will pretty much just spin off freely .

You probably weren't using a big enough hammer. I use a hand sledge, vigorously applied, and have never had a problem.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

You might be right - I was using a 16 oz framing hammer. Anyway, the job got done.
