Coolant sensor, can I get this to work?

I ordered a new coolant level sensor from bavauto two weeks ago and last week I got a broken sensor in the mail. I emailed them and they sent off a new one, which I got today but it is the wrong part! My 85 325e requires the spade connector but the one I have is the prong connector. Can I make it work still so I don't need another replacement?

when you ordered the part in the first place you meant to fix it right. Dont compromise now. Just have them send another replacement.. it's their fault for sending out the wrong one.

Don't hack anything like that and make the next owner have to deal with it. Just send them that one back, and ask for the right one. Bavauto usually has good customer service from my experience.

Yeah, bavauto have been very helpful in this matter and they're sending a replacement again. I just wish this never happened as I originally ordered the part 2 weeks ago. Hopefully I'll have the new one by this weekend...

Its okay, when I bought mine from them it took them quite some time to even find the right part, granted I was at the counter in the store, but sometimes I doubt their intelligence.
