I know the head is not worth redoing, so I'll leave that to the side and find another head. However, I don't know if the bottom end is worth it either. Take a look:

Yea, it's ugly, but it's the only piston with battlescars. I am not going to rework the bottom end, that's too much work, and I don't want to turbo anything. What are your thoughts.

Get a new set of pistons and save the block. At least your block looks better than one I saw 3 days ago where the valve was jammed on the piston.

I'd like so say that you dropped a valve, which is what caused you to break your rocker arm. If you just broke a rocker arm then you wouldnt have a broken valve. How many miles on the car and have you been on top of your your oil changes?
