I am relplacing my spark plugs today and a nipple remains in the wire boot. The spark plug wire connector nipple has been removed on the old spark plugs leaving just the treaded stud exposed, as oppose to the new plugs which have a normal nipple, is this normal? Should I remove the spark plug wire nipple from the new plugs which are the OEM Bosch Supers? Or should I try to remove the one in the boot? Any help is greatly appreciated, Thank You.

BMW spark plug wires attach to the threaded part underneath the nipple, they don't attach to the nipple.
Yes, you should unscrew the nipple off of your new spark plugs and then just push the spark plug wires onto the bare thread underneath. That's how the factory intended.
