Anyone Running Ireland Engineering Aluminum Radiator?

My OEM radiator is cracked, and I'm looking at replacement with same or upgrade to IE's aluminum 3-row unit that is 1/2" thicker.

Anybody running this? If so, what are you doing for a fan & shroud?

BTW I live in Las Vegas, where it's HOT.

Assuming it is in good operating condition, the OE cooling system is more than equal to the task of coping with the temps you are going to see. The big advantage to an all AL radiator is for track/race cars where the stresses on the hose connections can lead to failures and where thermal loads on the system exceed what a car driven on the street will ever see. In a Black Flag situation one can go from WOT at 6k to a dead stop in seconds. That results in a large heat load in the cooling system that has to be dissapated somehow...
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Thanks - I just ordered an OEM Behr radiator. Hopefully the new plastic tanks willl last 19 more years like the last one.
