pulling fuel injector wiring duct

Is there any thing special about pulling off the fuel injector wiring duct on the fuel injectors? Like do you have to remove the cover and/or there any spring clips that need to be released before you pull? Or do you just pull and grumble a few swears?

I am a little nervous pulling the duct since any other electrical connector i touch crumbles into black powder...

You mean pull off the injector harness, right? First unplug the connector under the intake manifold. Unbolt the intake manifold to valve cover bracket. Then unclip the harness from the injectors, there's a little metal clip on each injector plug. When you have that off you can pull the harness out over the intake manifold. Easy job, took me 15 minutes first time and I was going slowly and carefully.
