    how long is a piece of string?

    stock? you doing the wrench work? decent replacement parts? doing oil pump and waterpump too? head reconditioned?

      could range from $500 to $2000. I spent about $1300 on mine. The factors above have an affect on the cost.

        i would be doing most of the wrenching and yes the head would be reconditioned, it doesnt need to be pulled or put back in, its just a spare...

          I'm planning on at least $1000 to rebuild my euro M30B34. That includes the replacement parts and machine work for the head, and is assuming I don't add any fancy stuff along the way like a hot cam. In reality, it will probably cost about $200 more than you plan anyways.
