has anybody ever had problems out of there power steering pump and alternator brackets, on mine the nut that runs up the braket to tighten up the belt keeps striping on the power steering and it squeaks some times, and the alternator bracket was snaped into when i got it.

Damage to the star wheel adjuster or the rack on the support arm is quite common. That's usually the result of someone trying to tension/de-tension the belt without first loosening all of the pivot bolts. Replacements are readily available and aren't expensive, but you can properly tension the belt "old school style" with a prybar.
