Okay i have had man problems with this car and slowly but surely i have been changing everything. Now I'm at a new problem and i dont know where to go from here. Here is the problem: When the car is cold and i go to start it, it turns on then shuts off right away. Then i try it again but this time i pump the gas sometimes floaring it and it starts but i have to hold it at least at 2k rpms or it will die. While trying to idle, the engine sounds like a machine gun slowly trying to fire then after about 10 seconds of holding it, the engine idles fine and i can let it get warm by its self. Now a newer problem has come up, if the car isnt completely warm it will die or start to bog out as if its not getting fuel or theres no power. but once fully warmed up ITS FINE! Now here is what i have changed: NEW Coil Pack Battery Spark plus/wires Temperature Sensor with the white top Used Alternator Crank Position Sensor Fuel pump relay AMF Now im thinking its possible it could be the crank position sensor going bad considering it was used but that doesnt solve the getting warm problem or answer the question as to why it only happens when its cold or some what cold. I have no cracks or vacuum leaks and my amf is fine. PLEASE HELP!!!

OH WAIT never mind yeah i checked it. You mean the throttle body? I took it off and cleaned the crap out of it. Now sometimes it gets a little stuck so i have to push the gas a little harder to loosen it up but yeah its cleanHaving a fast honda is like coming out of the closet.....you suprise everyone at first, but in the end you're still gay

To adjust it you need to use a multimeter and set it based on current draw.Last edited by DaveSmed; 05-04-2008, 12:10 PM.-Dave
