No new information to offer really, just wanted to say don’t put off that timing belt change just because it’s a pain in the ass.
Just did mine, and had put it off for quite some time, just because the process is more of a bother than some of my previous cars were. Now that I’ve swapped it out behind schedule, I can see that the old one was very, very, worn; and was actually partially cracked in a few spots. I couldn’t have had much farther to go before that puppy would have snapped. I’m a man who prides himself on properly maintaining his vehicle, and I will be sure to perform this task promptly when required in the future.
