    Fuel leak, fuel leak die?

I found out that i have a fuel leak around the fuel neck. I can't tell where it's coming from, looks like it's dripping from the seam and maybe gets trapped under the fuel neck so it appears as it also has a leak. I also noticed a dent in the fuel tank on the passenger side area. I never noticed it before until the fuel leak came out. I have no idea how it got there because since i got the car no one else works on it but me. Possibly previous owner did it.

I wanted to ask if it is safe to use the fuel die to identify the leak under the UV light. I bought it at parts store and it says it's good for transmission, engine oil and fuel. Has anyone ever used it before? I'm worrying that it can clog up the fuel system or be in some way harmful to it.
Any info is great. Thanks in advance.

The dye shouldn't hurt anything, but it probably won't help in identifying the source of the leak as visibility to that area of the tank is very limited. Drop the tank and do a visual inspection, which may well tell you where the leak is. If that check is fruitless, pressure test the tank and you'll find any leaks in it. While the tank is out, replace all of the soft lines.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

What size of the lines/hoses am i looking for. I'd rather go to napa and pick up the hoses from them instead of buying precut ones from a dealer.

Once the tank is off, pull the hoses and take them with you to NAPA. They should be able to match them up with generic fuel injection hose.
