    '87 E, not starting. Opinions?

Got fuel up to the fuel rail. Injectors won't fire. Got spark. (earlier replaced fuel pump, fuel relays.) Have tested different ECU. Why else wouldn't my injectors get the signal. I used a lil tester thingy. Not sending any signal for the injectors to fire.
Any help offered is good help by me. (PS: It is an automatic, not that it should matter much...I hope?)
And out of sheer curiosity--What takes more battery power, firing an injector or getting a spark from the plug?

If you have spark, but don't have injector firing pulses, the cause will be a fault in the wiring or in the DME. Ohm out the wires from the DME to each injector bank and make sure the signal wires aren't grounded. If present on the car, the C191 connector (under the intake manifold) is a popular cause of no signals reaching the injectors.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

what he said^ if its not the connections then its the DME, DME grounds injectors to make them fire if that hasn't been mentioned.
