so my eta will start cold, but hard...and it requires effort with the gas pedal to keep it running...car wont idle
once it is running it runs fine for about 30-45 seconds, then acts like it has weak spark, and devlopes a miss...then goes completly dead...nothin
let it sit for about 10 minutes or so, and it will restart again same process
so it def. seems to be ignition related since it quits when it warms up a bit. my eta is an 86 model... does it have the #11 part here? http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...76&hg=12&fg=05
also does it have some sort of reference signal from the cam? or maybe a ignition module? or does the dme control everything?
i have a spare dme known to be good when removed from a running car...is it worth my time to switch them out?
