    starting problems

I have a ignition problem whenever i try to turn my car on it doesnt run unless i spray starter fluid into the intake as i turn ignition. Once i stop spraying the car turns cuts off. I try to do it with out the starter spray the engine will not turn on at all. But as i try to turn the car on you could hear this little clicking noise towards the distributor area. Ok what should i do about this problem? The motor M20b25

That sounds like it might be a fuel delivery problem (clogged fuel filter, bad fuel pump relay, bad fuel pump, etc). A pressure check at the inlet to the fuel rail while cranking the engine will quickly tell if there's a fuel problem.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
