    pretty sure there the same part. i know the coil is. not 100% about the distributor, but id say im about 80% sure theyre the same.

        same parts, plug wires, and plugs are the only different items in the ignition system

          cept for the later m20b25's have an impedance [or something] sensor on the #1 plug wire. e's dont

            -All Motronic 1.1 cars had that, 87+ 325i and 88 325 s-etas.

            -The only way the plugs are different, iirc, is the heat range.
