I believe I am running a bit lean. CO and NO are high, hydrocarbons are average. On full throttle, it surges, and sometimes on part thorttle. Not enough for a passenger to notice it, but I do. I am thinking 02 sensor, but I am not sure where is an accessible location for the harness. The idle isnt perfectly smooth either, but I am not too worried about that.

Check your fuel pressure. My 86 eta always hesitate when accelerating from stop. I put an inline fuel pressure gauge and it's only giving me 28psi. Yesterday I pulled the 3.0bar fpr from my 325i and put it in the eta. Pressure rose to 36psi and it was driving better today.

I have been looking for this car for 2 years off and on. So no. :p

I will have to see if one of my buddies has a gauge for fuel pressure.

On and Off. And for cheap. If I could have found an 325i for cheap, i would have rather had the extra 50 or so horses.
