M20 missing with any throttle input...

I just swapped a running (good running) M20 into my 318i and have had nothing but trouble getting this thing to run. It started with me putting the incoming fuel line on the FPR instead of the fuel rail which I figured out after a few bad starts. Swapped those, replaced the FPR since I thought that much pressure on the wrong side might have made it begin to blow back pressure....well it starts but only after a few tries and it just doesn't seem to want to start most of the time.

Once it's running (and while playing with the MAFS) it will rev up with only a little throttle (guessing while the TPS still thinks its idling) but anymore and it starts missing and backfiring. When I play with the MAFS at idle, if I move it just ONE tooth back and forth it starts to stumble.

Just put new plugs in, didn't make a difference. Old ones were incredibly fouled.

No vacuum leaks to be found. Tried running the car with the ICV unplugged and ran the same way, just with a low idle and stalled once.

    Any help is appreciated.

Coil has 12v to it. Spark was there but didn't seem too incredibly strong, but this was before I put new plugs on it (old ones were UBER fouled).

Just pulled a plug out and layed it against the motor.

            TPS unplugged made no difference.

Maybe the nipple wore out inside your distributor, its a spring loaded piece in the center of the distributor, that touches the center of the ignition rotor....
