CAI question

i was lookin at the maf setup because im planning on doing a custom CAI but if i remove the airbox im left with just the maf and theres nowhere to mount the cone filter on. the MAF has a small square opening. i was wondering if anyone out here did anything similar and if they can help me out

its a 86 325e 5speed

go on ebay. theres a piece that mounts to the AFM that has a round mounting surface for a cone. BTW your car has a AFM not a MAF.

Everyone on ebay is an idiot so you find cheaper ones under maf adaptor..

loll ur right nothin under AFM adaptor but a couple of things under MAF adaptor
