    Reference sensor bracket...

Any one know the part # for the reference sensor bracket? I'm thinking it's #12 in the picture at this link: http://www.realoem.com/... Additionally, what else is required to mount the sensor?

Yes that is the correct bracket for the 325i crank sensor, you also need the toothed wheel, bolts for the bracket, sensor itself, and 325i water pump pulley. I'm assuming you are adding this setup to a 325e motor?

I thought the speed and ref sensors were on the tranny on a 325e ?? #11 in the pic connects to the diag port.

Yes, I'm putting together a 2.7i. Or at least trying to get all the parts together before jumping in. Already have the toothed wheel, the sensor, and found the info regarding the water pump pulley this morning. (In addition to the immense pile of "i" parts that is gathering in the garage!) My end goal is to be running MS2 on it, but will be using M1.3 for the time being.

And yes, on a standard eta, both sensors are located in the bellhousing...

You don't need the water pump pulley, I did the 2.7i swap and still have my eta one on. You need the alternator cause I had to get a smaller belt for it.

You need the water pump pulley, the belt length is the same for all E and I motors, you could change alternator size, but then you screw up the driveratio of the water pump etc...
