On the M20 motor 91' ,what is a good weight to lighten to for a stock motor in an Ix , 12lbs ?? Is the weight taken off the inside only after resurfacing ? thanks , joe

I have a 15lb and like it. It's noticeable, but not difficult to drive in any way. With the extra driveline in an iX, I think 12-15lbs would be a good target to shoot for.Comment

That's the area I was look for. I've got a speed shop that will do the machining but does the weight come of the inside with only a resurfacing on the working side ?? Thanks , joeComment

the shop should be able to answer that for you. If they can't, then I would find another shop.....Comment
