    You use silicone between the scraper and block, then let it dry bolted up (my pic shows that) then I put a gasket between the scraper and the pan, it should stick to the block well enough to allow removal of the pan and stay put. It would really, really suck to try to mess with it in car though if you had to re-align it. It only takes one long left hander to do some damage each lap. So far I'm quite happy with it, next weekend I'll see how it does on track. :D

      why not an M50/S50 swap instead of rebuilding?

        4) Time. An M50 project would take a lot longer with finding parts, sourcing stuff, figuring out those little issues that always come up with a swap, etc.
