High compression M20 on Sidedraught Carbs?

Madhatter, Just for the record, that looks like an A/m Delphi unit that was modified ans sold by Jet. They are big on the lSx series engines, and have been making the modified meter you posted above.

About the only thing ive owned with a huge screen was a mitsubishi, but that was part of the air filter housing too. You have enough filter elements in the intake, etc that if you had a screen it wouldnt hurt to remove it as possible.

My point anyway was that you can find MAF sensors with very little restriction.
