Engine swap and it still doesnt work..

I had recently bought a 1988 325is, because I got into an unfortunate accident with my last e30. Anyways, the new E30 started cutting out on me. It would cut out so bad it would die. I changed everything Wires, plugs, coil. I changed the crank sensor, AFM, Main Relay. I checked the Fuel pressure and it was right were it needed to be. So my only other option was to switch the engine out of my wrecked e30 that was in perfect running condition. I just got done with the swap and the same problem occurs with my perfect e30 engine I just put into it. I also swapped the fuel filter to make sure the old one wasn't clogged up. I have no clue what to do next.

I had to do this engine swap by myself and it wasn't an easy task... Fustration can get the best of you when you have nothing left to try. Can you guys help me out.... I know its electrical. But the only thing that didnt come off of the old e30 was the fuse box. Has anyone had this problem before?? This car is my DD so I need to have it done ASAP. Thank you guys for the help.

if you checked your fuel pressure before the regulator, thats probl where you went wrong... someone jacking the car up on the fuel lines might have pinched it. check your FPR as well.. injecters? fuse? relay? DME? it could be many of things... does the fuel pump work 100%? mine is cutting in and out

I checked the flow of the regulator and it did have the normal flow it should have. The I Tested the Ignition switch, and everything checked out. I really don't think it is fuel related. I checked the coil and it was good. This problem started happening after I tried out the cruise control a while back.

You never mentioned this part to me. I had the same isue with my E28. Have you tried completely disconnecting everything to do with the cruise control? It may very well be a fusebox problem.

Does your harness hat the C191 connector underneath the intake manifold. If it is corroded or damaged, you can loose operation of the injectors.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
