My 87 325 is having some clutch problems. The pedal is very soft, and if I feed too much gas it slips. There seems to be fluid under the car, but my brake reservoir is full. I think it may be the slave cylinder, but I wanted to get a second opinion before I start blindly replacing parts. Any thoughts?

The slipping could be the clutch disc itself, you may have glazed it, or the friction material may be worn. The clutch disc could also be getting stuck because of debris on the input shaft. You would have to remove the trans completely (pain in the ass) to check any of that though.
What sort of fluid is underneath the car? You may have a leak elsewhere. I would check the bleeder screw and the nut that holds the fluid line to the slave cylinder. Mine was loose and I had to tighten it up just a smidge which stopped a minor leak.
While you're under there I would check the retaining spring for the shift fork. If that has become dislodged the shift fork may not be pivoting as it should. The Keystone Killers
