yea they can, it just takes some wiggling. You can remove the valve cover for more clearance, if needed.

thanks. some ricer shop that claim to be bmw specialist told him that the manifold needs to be taken off completly to switch them. and they also charged him 2000 dollars to lower his car (springs, struts, and labor.)

If he's spending that kind of money, I'd want to be his mechanic :D

What injectors are you putting on? I'm going to be doing an upgrade on my beater/track toy 325is and trying to get an idea of what works and what doesn't.

he is just putting stock ones in. he has to pass emissions. im gonna be doing some trade work. im changing the injectors and replacing a fuel line and he is giving me a b25 harness.
and after he passes inspection he wants to have a set of headers installed. i dont really like to shop to begin with. i went in there once wanting to buy a throttle cable for my e30 cause it was broken and my car was stranded, i get there and they have one laying around and they say they cant sell it to me because if they do then if they ever needed one they would have to buy one at full price(25.00 usd). i was like wtf.

I put 19# and an 027 AFM in my car with a K&N cone filter. It runs great. Somewhere on here someone put up some dyno specs before and after the install. It added 14RWHP IIRC. I say that after I had ordered the injectors but that would have been a selling point for me.
I paid $20 for a 027 AFM from a 530i, $40 K&N filter and $65 for tested design 3 injectors on ebay. Well worth the money

I have Taken Mine off a couple of times and all u have to do is disconect the fuel lines and the fuel pressure regulator then remove the 3 or 4 10mm bolts then pry up on the injector rail with a Screw driver then push then flip the rail so its laying on its side facing the intake manfold and then just pull out the injectors it should take no less then 20 mins.
