    I'm over heating bad WTF

    My 325i started over heating. i drive it for about 10 minutes and it is on the end of the red like my thermostat is stuck closed but here is the catch. I pull over and open the bleeder screw and a whole bunch of air comes out for a couple minutes. So I drive 3 minutes and it is back there so i do the same thing. I have put almost 2 gallons in it today.

    -There is no coolant in the oil and no oil in the coolant tank.
    -I hear my radiator bubbling, maybe a leak in a core??
    -I do have a brand new bad water pump from pelican that they want me to send it before they will send me a new one. Bullshit
    -doesn't matter the outside temp or if it is idling or driving

          let it warm up (from a cold start) and leave the radiator cap off, just watch for bubbles. if bubbles come out, check your compression, you might need a head gasket.

              Don't know if the thermostat is opening but I assume that it is.

              I don't have a radiator cap but I will check for bubbles in the coolant tank.

              I would rather find out if it is a head gasket before it too late. i just don't konw how much more i can bleed it. The shop that i work at is closed for the next 2 day and I only have a diesel compression testor but i will see if it will work

                  That's the classic symptoms of a bad head gasket or a cracked head.
                  The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

                          Blowing bubbles in your radiator = bad head gasket or worse.

                                  Take your thermostat out and run it without out it. At least you will know if your thermostat is bad.
