      I meant as far as engine internals go, what would benefit from replacing / upgrading while I've got the head open.

        not sure on that.

        you won't actually have the head open.. just have the valve cover off.. so you could change valve seals.. maybe even the valve springs.

              Valves will not close completely when the motor gets up to running temp. if they're adjusted too tight. THEN it will run like crap and no power. Do it by the book for best results. Seriously.
