    Spark Plugs

I am going to pick up some spark plugs today. Mine are pretty bad.. lots of crud on them.

What do you suggest? I don't want to pay to much for them.

What do I set the gap to?

This one is easy... just get a set of Bosch super's. What is it, WL8RC or something? Anyhow, cheap, proper, and pre-gapped. You're welcome.

P.S. If you choose to ignore my advice, at least don't get platinums. They are NOT good for your engine. Copper core only.

the bosch platinums are cheap ass unless you get the 100k plugs but those are $20+ each

OK. I get that. they're cheap.. but why are they not good for your engine? Is there any tech evidence to show they are bad? Do they cause problems? Is it that they do not last long? What are the details on this statement.

I did some google searches and came up with little more than opinions. I did read those but I was hoping for something that showed more details as to why and how. Maybe some articles, actual tests etc. I appreciate you passing those along.

                    Thanks.
