    Water pump bolts

Hopefully this isn't a dumb question. One of my water pump bolts broke when I was torqueing it down. It broke rather easily and actually came back out easily. The threads were not damaged, but I think I want to change out all three bolts since the one broke at less than 16 ft-lbs. They are Verabus brand. Are they some special type or can I replace them with a standard bolt of the same size and thread?

There's nothing special about those bolts. Match up the diameter, thread, and length and you'll be fine.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
