    hey all noob with problems

hello, i have really enjoyed seeing all the very well documented upgrades and pride the owners here have. i have an 86 325 coupe 5 speed and i love it. only problem is now it is sitting in the driveway and i am having to sport the accord. . . . . . . i have had my car for about 5 months now and really have not done much to it. replaced a radiator, changed the clutch fan over to an electric fan, adjusted the valves and put in a stereo. about a week ago the car felt like it was bucking when i was leaving work. made it home ok, thought it was a cold start issue. a few days ago the car would not start. found a screw loose( was in the little plastic box between the strut tower and the fuse box. looked like it was a fuse or a fuseable link) reinstalled it and the car started right up. this morning the car wouldn't start again, checked the screw it was tight. i also seem to have no clutch safety switch as i can start the car without pushing in the clutch. any ideas to start with would be great.

why does it have to be a "dead end"? why not just "end"?

check and make sure you got fuel then spark if no spark check voltage at the coil if still no spark check tps (throttle position sensor) if no fuel check fuel pump then fuse then relay try that and see what happens

ok, my wife went out and tried to start my car......on a whim..........started right up. she said it idles kinda rough bounces between 700 and 900 rpm. would the fuel pump be an intermittin problem like this? she did not drive it as she said she didn't want it to break down on her while she was out.

Which relay is for the fuel pump? What color wires go into it?

Since nobody else has answered this, it didnt come with a clutch safety switch.

Look at the little three-relay box near the PS resv. IIRC, the fuel relay is the furtherest back. Also, the o2 relay is the same (right next to it), and not needed to run the car, so swap the two and see if it runs any different.
