    adjustable cam gear?

Does anyone know if someone makes one? I want to deck my head down to get a 9ish compression ratio but obviously am going to need to adjust the cam timing.

also has anyone done this and what adjustment did you have to make? I turned my engineer friends loose on this so they should be getting back to me with some numbers at some point which i will post

There are a few different manufacturers actually.

      VAC makes one $$$
IE sells some for $120. LOTS cheaper, IIRC they look the same as the Cosmo gears that are sometimes found on ebay.
there's a couple other ones too, but they do exist.

Mine ended up needing about 6 crank degrees of advance. Getting a good dial indicator read on the valves was tricky! Have fun with the build!
