I have an 88 IX and when i go to start the vehicle, pretty much if it has been sitting for more then 20 minutes, it takes like 25 seconds of cranking to get it to start. It is cranking at full speed it just wont start. I think fuel pressure is bleeding down somehow cause if i turn it off and then start it, it starts right up. After it starts the car runs great. any thoughts?

That could be a loss of pressure in the rail when the car sits, a flaky fuel pump relay, or even a dying fuel pump. What I'd do to diagnose the problem would be to tee-in a pressure gauge at the inlet to the fuel rail and see what the pressure does. The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
