    axles and shafts

Ok... getting a little thumbing under load in 1st thur 2nd... only in low rev under torque....

and if i go real eazy it doesn't do it..

brings me to the thought that when the back squats a little when going slow. the axle (i think right outer cv) gets bound up a little...

bottom line is im ither gonna need 1, 2 or 2 axles and a shaft...

whats my best options... should i buy the 50dollar rebuild and just do the Cv my self, or is it better for me 2 just get the hole unit...

there not cheap and i can find them for under 400bucks.

    anyone

also the drive shafts arent rebuldibul eh?

Check you CSB, e30s have 2-piece driveshafts. Oh and this probably should be in the Transmission/Driveline sub-forum.

sorry.... admin could move if they like...

the main shaft bearing thats right under the ebrake... i have that i bought it a while ago... and just never thought about it doing yet..

the axles would click like a Fwd?

i think you have answered my question. but theres 2 u joints b4 and after...

ive only seen it in my book so i kindda dont know how they did it.. i know i have to drop the exhaust and heat sheilding... (which sucks)

That's a classic symptom of a failed CSB caused by binding drive shaft u-joints. Inspect the rubber mount of the CSB and if it is torn you'll need to replace the CSB and drive shaft.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

You will need to remove the heat shields. I'm not sure if this is the best way. You may be able to get by with just dropping the rear exhaust mounts, and then swing the exhaust down and away to get clearance.

Oh and don't forget to mark the alignment of the driveshaft halves, unless it is already out of alignment.
