    Hello guys im new to this site, i have 325 2.7 with 4.10 i was using my friend chip and it didn't have a rpm limit, so on 9000 rpm i blowed the block :/

    im searching for new block, they said to me there is 6K and 6E i had 6E, what you say i should get ? or any other tips ;)

      First of all, welcome to r3v.

      Second, I didnt quite understand your second line very well. Did you mean a 6I not 6K? Are you referring to the 2.5L 325i engine VS the 2.7L 325e motor (which you blew up)? Sorry, its late here and I'm tired.

      Just noticed you have an 885 head on your eta, so you basically turned it into a 2.7i? Is the head still good? If so I guess it wouldnt matter if you found a used I or E block. Might as well find another ETA block though so you can keep the slightly increased displacement. If you trashed your head, I'd just go with a b25 motor. Just don't rev these things higher than 7k. If you really trashed the block and the head isn't what initially broke, you're lucky. They start breaking rocker arms at 7k.

        on my block is written 6E, i don't want to loose my engine powers please, plus now im going to take the head off to see if it has problems hope not! :)

          i want to know on what block and which year comes this pistons. long or short rods?

              opened 2 windows from the side of the block :/ i think the rods coz i found some rods parts :o
