      the ETA was not just offered in America, Europe got one as well, just with high compression pistons and a slightly different head.

        well i have 325e with that pistons and i have on it an 325i head, so what makes the engine a high compression or a low compression?

            The European Eta had high compression pistons, 11:1 CR, the American Eta has lower compression pistons at 8.5:1.
