    Introduction and Questions

    Hi All,
    I am actually not an e30 owner, I am a e21 323i owner who has m20 questions and I'm hoping you all can help out.

    I am an avid forum-er on the e21 tricord and more recently bimmerforums-e21 if you would like to see more information on my car there.

    Firstly, Have any of you suffered from worn piston rings in the past? Have you noticed a low vacuum reading from this and high HCs on smog tests?

    Secondly,
    What is the horsepower, torque, and compression ratio of a stock 731 head/eta block setup? I am running K-jet for at least the time being FYI, but whatever numbers you all have would be very helpful.
