    Fuel line question

I have done a bit of searching and looking through my Bentley and I can't seem to find anything on the actual route the fuel lines take. I have a leak right at the back of the engine where the fuel line connects to the fuel rail. It goes forward and then down somewhere out of view. It does not look like there is any slack in the line at all. It takes a quick turn forward. I am trying to figure out where the next connection is and how much fuel injection line there is.

It looks kind of like the 561MM-920MM on realoem, but I am not sure. It looks like it comes up from the fuel pump and filter, but I am guessing it must make a connection before the filter.

Sorry for the probably basic question, but I have not messed with it before and I can't find any pictures or descriptions of the route the lines follow.

Someone has done this! No help for the less technically experienced?

Fuel line is just sold by the foot. There isnt a specific number for the different sections on the car. Its one part number, and cut to fit for different sections between the hardlines, pumps, filters, charc canisters etc.

To me anyway, your description is rather hard to follow.

There are hard lines that run from the rear of the car. Those lines are under the car and terminate in the engine bay. Soft lines run from those hard lines to the the charcoal cannister, fuel rail and FPR.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

The incoming line to the rail starts at the back of the engine and follows the rail forward. It then goes down under the intake with the return line and I think I have found where it comes out on the other side and goes over near the strut tower. There is this kind of H connector that keeps the two lines together. I am thinking this is the first place it ends. My guess is that it is what realoem and rmeuropean list as a 561MM-920MM line. I think the only difference is that it has the sharp turn at the end already in the line and it is the correct length.

I finally got a chance to get at the clamp on the line by fuel rail where it is leaking and put a half a turn on it and it stopped leaking, but my guess is that it won't last. It is still hard to see exactly what happens to the lines under the intake, but it might be a little easier to see if I take the air box off.

          Thanks for the replies, KJ
