i want to keep A/C on my car cuz it is a DD and i dont tolerate heat very well. the car has been converted over to R134a (i found a sticker saying so in the engine bay). however, the PO warned me that the A/C hadnt worked in a while, the condensor had a leak.
so today, i ripped out the condensor and aux fan. i think either the PO hit a bird or a bird made a nest between the aux fan and the condensor. either way, the condensor is in the garbage (rotted to shit). the aux fan however looks pretty good, but it doesnt spin. it's seized. im assuming this is not normal either?
so what are my options to keep A/C? get a new condensor and fan? repair the fan somehow? or is this easy to find in the used market in good shape?
