                Yeah, haven't pulled the the head off yet, but looking down the #1 spark plug hole with a flashlight, there is definitely some carnage down there.

                Funny thing is that the rest of the plugs are fine.

                Compression test numbers, just for giggles:
                #1 - NA, plug threads are toast from pulling the plug out
                #2 - 160
                #3 - 152
                #4 - 32
                #5 - 25
                #6 - 143

                Figure at least bent valves, hopeful the bottom-end is salvagable.

                Anyone want to guess the cause of the motor's demise?

                          My thoughts exactly since the car is an '88 SETA that I bought the off this board not running w/ 180K.

                          Figured it was either a slipped belt or a floated valve due to over-revving.
