What is the hose under the throttle body?

Last night I pulled and cleaned the TB, ICV and TPS. There is an oddly shaped rubber hose that connects to a brass tube in the TB that is horribly cracked. It looks more like an elephant trunk than the 'real' elephant trunk.
I've scoured RealOEM but can't find anything even remotely close to it.
    Anyone?

searching 'hose under throttle body' = fail.

this is on an '87 325is

The line comes out the side or the bottom of the TB?

    Side, probably valve cover vent

Bottom, probably should connect to charcoal canister.

That hose connects the evap control valve to the throttle body. Part #20 on http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...07&hg=16&fg=10
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

out of the bottom, offset. it goes from about 1/4" i.d. to maybe 1/2"-ish. The larger opening is keyed.

hhmmm.... I ran across that pn but didn't think it was the correct one because it pulled up THIS photo, and that's not what mine looks like.
