I'm planning on doing a budget stroker setup and I'm thinking of having the head shaved before I do the swap. Has anyone had any experience with this? Anyone know ballpark what the compression ratio would be? Any problems with the timing belt tensioner making up for the difference in height?

Youre motor man will be able to tell you. Also they numbers I believe are in the bentleys. Mine was WAY outta wack and I had to get a new head. The motor man should have a booklet that tells him.Comment

I would stop there unless u notch the pistons. W/ stock "i" "K" cam u are @ 0.055" I & 0.070" exhaust piston to valve clearance @ 0.010 VL cold. Any more overlap be careful. Most engine builders recommend around 0.080- 0.100" min. Don't screw up the timing belt. One tooth off is trouble.Comment
