mysterious oil leak

sssooo i had an oil leak when i bought the car, and it looked like it was coming from the top/front of the head. so i changed the rocker shaft plugs and the VC gasket and i thought it went away. i was wrong. my oil light came on and sho nuff im low again. anybody know where its leaking? looks like about where the cam is... hope its not cam seals

But is it leaking above the water pump or below it?

Heres all your seals behind the timing gear.





Could be your head gasket too...

If its around the water pump area then there is a plug right behind it thats known to leak all the time.

the heads on m20s leak externally a bit around the front pass-side

this is where its coming from... guess its time for a new cam seal...

also i noticed you used RTV on the VC gasket. wwas i supposed to do this? or is that just for extra insurance?

What part # is that plug? I think mine is leaking as well.
