There's is a similar post but the problem I'm having is slightly different.
I'm getting a really bad miss fire or fuel cut at 3k rpm and up.
It's at it's worst when cold. Once the hits 3k under any load it's like hitting the rev limiter. It completly cuts out. Some times it goes away if the car is all the way warmed up. But most times it doesn't. I think it's getting worse too ( lower rpm).
I just started to happen out of no where. The use to run fine. It's becoming a real pain in the ass.
The car is all stock other than a msd coil and chip. 180k miles. The temp sensor usually real low. I think the temp sensor is bad (but the lack of heat on the heater indicates other wise) or the thermo stat is done. Sometimes the car heats up all the way most time it stays in the blue.
I'm thinking that the car my be running way too rich or something becasue it thinks it's cold???? Idk but it use to run fine even running cold.
Is there any issues that are know to cause this???
