frustrating no-start.. running out of things it could be

My '87 eta has been down for the better mart of a month with its current no-start issue... we've poked at it on several occasions but are running out of things that could be wrong with it. Fuel is there; no spark is the main problem right now.

    Things we've eliminated/replaced/checked:

ECU is fine, works perfectly in another '87 eta.
Main, fuel relays are fine and work perfectly in another '87 eta.
power present at coil, where it should be
speed and ref sensors seemed bad (about 300 ohms low in one of them), swapped for ones with resistance in spec.
Distributor cap/rotor replaced with new ones
    Alternator voltage regulator replaced

Aside from the timing pin falling out of the flywheel, I am lost as to what the problem could be. Ideas?

I want to run through the ECU harness tests tomorrow morning if Farbin-san is up to it. (and check the flywheel pin at the same time)
