Need confirmation from those of you running headers. (Video)

Who's running headers and a scorpion?
Does it sound anything like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=emmBWHtdTXQ

If so, what headers are you running.

Post up any vids / sound clips you've got.

That sounds fucking MEAN man I want that exhaust setup I wonder if the fact that it's split all the way back makes a difference? I mean don't the twin pipes in the normal configuration go back into one again in the muffler? I wonder if that has a X pipe in it too. I WANT!

From the tone of your post, I'm guessing you're disappointed. Wanted it quieter? Sounds like a collector leak, or maybe at the muffler inlet. Or maybe I'm just hearing vid quality...

      Bit of startup smoke, huh?

That's not my car. I wish my car sounded like that.
My question is would headers to a scorpion cat-back sound anything like that?

SO many things affect tone... What header and collector design? X-pipe? Displacement? Compression? Exhaust port shape? All this and more changes exhaust sound before it even sees the pipework.

IMHO, that system is too loud for the motor.

The headers aren't what makes that sound, but rather the mufflers. The video sounds very much like the exhaust on my Spec e30. Which is a single pipe from the OE headers back to a glasspac.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

According to the video poster it's a stock M20. I asked him about it.

I do dig the sound of my Scorpion - however having an M20 roar like that is something I do aspire to owning.
