I have a 1985 E30 323i Baur (Euro) that I recently changed the timing belt, distributor cap, rotor, wires and fuel filter. The car fires up fine when cold and idles smoothly until it starts to warm -up. Once it warms up (3-5 minutes) it develops a rough spot/miss that gradually increases in frequency until the engine stalls. If I restart the car, it will restart immediately and momentarily idle smoothly but then the miss returns and it will die again.
I have smoke tested the vacuum system to rule out vacuum leaks
Ignition timing has been set for 19' advance at 3000 rpm
Fuel pressure coming into the fuel filter is steady at 32 and doesn't drop when idle problem kicks in
Any further diagnostic ideas?
