    vacuum issues

Been struggling to find the source of what i'm assuming to be a vacuum leak in my '92 325i. It has been idling like it has a vacuum leak. Vacuum gauge reads at like 12 at idle when cold, and 14ish at idle when warm. I also am having a very faint "pop" sound from the exhaust when idling hot that can only be heard if I stick my head by the tailpipes. Not sure if it is running lean and missing or what. Pulls strong otherwise. Recently replaced injector o-rings, oil cap, dipstick o-rings, intake manifold gaskets, throttle body gasket, jb welded one of the metal throttle body elbows, replaced intake boot, valve cover gasket, and pretty much all vacuum lines. I've been meaning to run a compression test, but haven't had a chance yet. What am I missing?

You really need to do a proper smoke test with the tailpipe plugged to find small vacuum leaks.

Probably a smart move. Hopefully, I'll be able to get that done, and figured out soon. Thanks man
