    Help me identify this cable.

I am new to e30 and generally working on cars. I've done some work over the weekend and saw this cable almost broken. I googled all kinds of combinations to find what its called. number search on the plug didnt come out to be anything.

is it oil level sensor cable? images that come do not look like it

    Thanks in advance!

Its the latter style oil pressure switch, and uses the same connector and boot as the Bosch injector. Its thankfully much cheaper to replace than the oil level sensor.

Yep, Oil Pressure Sensor part number 12-61-8-611-273. I am looking at mine as well because I have some oil leak in that area and suspect it is from it. Not expensive.
